Well, I just discovered "Other Fiction!!" Yay! So I thought I might randomly post some poems and hope I get some feedback.

This is called "Secrets."

There are no secrets to my past,

No hidden rooms behind locked doors;

There are no hallways in my brain

With shame and lies and dusty floors.

I have no promises to break,

I have no blood upon my name;

My life is filled with open books

Empty words that will never fade.

Lifes darkest truths are out of mind,

And I am not to glad of it;

Life is bare without a sign

Of trouble in the morning mist.

There are no secrets to my past,

No hidden rooms behind locked doors;

My mind is filled with useless facts

And keys to lock the unfilled drawers.

Another poem:



I stare at the clock, tick tock

Time passes and I don't care

Over and over the bell tolls,

telling me I'm slightly crazy

I knew that already.

Maybe in a minute or two

I'll get up and go somewhere,

do something, not just stare.

A minute passes and I haven't moved

but there are so many more minutes.

Do I have time to waste? Of course-

I can make time, just to kill it with my eyes

As I stare at the clock, tick tock.


(I wrote this because I'm procrastinating about doing my homework)
