So it's been round 7 years since the movie came out and I FINALLY GOT IT ON DVD!AND WATCHED IT!
so imma just going to ramble a bit cause I can't keep it all tucked inside
DID YOU KNOW IT WAS BASED ON A BOOK SERIES???!
yeah pretty cool right, except it's kinda hard to find for a good price
Also the fact that the other guardians from the books aren't there worries me,LIKE WHERE THE HECK IS MERLIN AND MOTHER GOOSE?
Also SPOILERS (For the book)
jack used to be someone called nightlight
Pitch Black(the bad guy) is actually Mother earths DAD,who kinda got possessed by space pirates,it's complicated
The man in the moon was guarded by nightlight and he "Fell" protecting him from Pitch and then Nightlight became jack frost
SANDY SAVED MOTHER EARTH FROM A SHOOTING STAR SHE LIVED IN...
okay that's enough of cannon rambling cause I had a idea
So the grim reaper has to be cannon in this universe somewhere right?Ya know how the day of the dead happens?Fuse that theme with the grim reaper and you get a pretty reaper lady who runs the little reapers.
But she could be a guardian, guardian of family,cause that's what the Day of the Dead is about
what if her job mainly was to allow the spirits of departed family members visit their descendants?What if she had a area where they stayed waiting for them?Like a motel or something?Or a gate to whatever afterlife they believe in?
Also raven-esq theme with the golden flowers mainly was my thoughts on her appearance,but on full moons she's a skeleton(that's just my brain working too fast and hard)
