The sun could be seen peeking from the hill tops over the horizon, and the bells form the very top of the castle rung loud and proud. This was when slaves were meant to wake up and start on their daily chores.
But, there was something different about today. Today, there were rumors of a ball where slaves were permitted, it was going to be the night after this one.
The reason was that a possible ally for Adreoles was sending a prince to court the princess, and of successful, Adreoles would accomplish more land and the strongest alliance in history, IF it worked out well.
For now, it's time to work and tend to the needs of everyone in the castle.
All you have to do is wake up.
Lidia
Lidia grumbled, sitting up. She usually awoke before the bells, but last night's fights had kept her up too late. She slid out of her bed, blue nightgown falling around her knees. She snuck over to the pile of pillows she made for Odelina, her... Slave. Oh how she hated that word, tonight, she'll make a statement, and pull all of the people she's talked to together into her rebellion. "Hey, Ode, wake up, it's time to get ready, we got to get you into propper ware.", Lidia whispered, putting a callaced hand on her shoulder.
(Is it alright if Lidia had given Odelina a place to sleep and one of her nightgowns?)
Riften
Riften curled into a tight ball, grasping for the last shreds of unconsiousness. He was terrified of what his owner would do to him again. But then, he realized today was the day that the princess promised his freedom. His eyes snapped open as he practically jumped from the floor. he looke over, seeing that grift was gone. Riften walked up to the mirror, fixing his hair and clothing. When his shoulder-length brunette hair was tied back with a blue ribbon he moved on.

(Yep! Owners can treat slaves how ever nicely or badly they want)
Remilia still slept on her fluffy and lacy bed, looking graceful even in her sleep. The bells made her open her eyes, blinking sleepily as she sat up.
"Mm... Five more minutes and I'll be good to go..." She mumbled as she tried to lay back down on her side, throwing the the covers back over her head. She didn't want to go to the ball tomorrow, there would be dukes from all over asking for her hand and courting her. It always made her sick to have to smile and even have her hand kissed by their ugly lips. And today she had to get herself a new dress. It always made her skin crawl when the seamstresses touched her to fit a dress to her body.
Amias has been awake for the whole night, as it had been his turn for the night shift. It had been at least four days since he last slept a full eight hours, and as he leaned his head against the wall, he dozed on and off until he heard the familiar steps down the hall. None other than Ekon Sayer was marching down the hall. He stiffened as his master stood in front of him.
"You are relieved of the night shift, Amias. I expect you to be in the fields in no less than a half hour, do you understand me?" Ekon's voice still had it usual icy tone to it. Amias nodded stiffly, no words spoken. Ekon went back to relieving guards of their shifts, and Amias hurried off down the hall. He needed to eat something, he hadn't been hungry the night before after his beating. Through the holes on his mask, you could see the bags under his eyes, but he never gave any other indication he was the least bit exhausted. There were also cuts and bruises all along his forearms where his sleeves were rolled up.

(I was talking to Blue, but okay.)
The young elf snuck out of his room. He was usually supposed to wait for Grift, but Riften was hungry now. He was starved for the last four days because of the last time he disobeyed his owner. Riften was too focused on his hunger pains than what was in front of him; so he walked into a wall. That wall was Amias to be corrected. "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.", He apologized repetitively, gathering himself. "Please forgive me." He was looking down at his feet, unknowing that it was his friend not a Sargent or a General.
(I was thinking that Riften is much shorter than Amias idk.)

(Whoops. Sorry about that.)
Amias wasn't really paying attention either, his mind going back to the events of last night. When he felt Riften, who was in fact smaller than him, walk into him, he stopped his train of thought and looked down. When he heard him apologizing, he put a hand on his shoulder very gently.
"It's just me." He said softly. "No need to apologize."
(Yeah, Amias is kinda tall lol)

(Sure, That is fine.)
Odelina opened one eye. She smiled and giggled a bit. Hiya Liddy! How are you this lovely morning? She asked as she stood up. Her smile grew. She put her hands on her hips. Miss Liddy! Our first priority is you. Isnt some silly prince coming to court ya? We need to get you ready to break his heart. She stated. She would never talk like this to anyone else or while in public. This was followed by more giggling.

Riften flinched a little, but when he heard Amias speak he relaxed. He looked up at his friend. "Did you hear, there's a ball tonight, and we can go!", He whisper yelled, crystal blue eyes glimmering with joy. "The eldest princess has some plans as well, but we must wait and see if they come into play." He was practically jittering in with joy.
(No worries.)

Lidia giggled. "Ode, I am fine, I am treating you today.", She said, hooking her arm with Odeline's. "Anyway, tonight is the night, we should get ready." She smiled, guiding her friend to the side room where the lower-ranked... workers were scrambling to collect garments. They were gossiping among themselves happily, "Alright, ladies, you din't have to work so hard today.", Lidia called. "Also, Maryam, do you have my armor ready to fit under my "Gown"? Also, Ode, pick out any dress you wish for, it is your day today, go ham."
Her gown:
(It would be long-sleeved to hide to braces.)

Nicote bored sighed. He'd been up since about 4. "Lazy d**ks. Can't believe waking up this late is appropriate.* he muttered crossly.
Nanita was waiting by the door for her master. She tried to stifle her giggle at his mood. not quite managing it. Says the person who barely sleeps she sighed.
Nicote turned form the window. "C'mon. We're already late." he snapped. Stormign down the hall. Nanita hurried behind. Relieved today he was in a "good" mood...

Amias didn't really smile often, but a hint of one came to his lips as he heard Riften all excited.
"I did hear about that. I was a bit skeptical, but it seems safe." Amias adjusted the mask on his face as he looked at Riften.
"Maybe it'll bring a bit of change." He said quietly to himself.
