Time to start

The sea was calm today and the boat rocked gently on the waves. The salty seaspray wet the brow of the dark haired elf at the bow. He breathed deeply as he looked out across the horizon. They would be making landfall in Esior sometime today to restock their provisions. It had been a good trip. They had found a decent amount of treasure on the last island. The map that had led them to it had been recovered from a band of pirates that hunted merchant ships. Most pirates did, the Sea sharks however were different. They hunted prey of a different kind, they hunted other pirates. Sharkon smiled to himself. It was an unusual life for an elf, but one he would not trade for nothing. So far on all their trips they had never run into other elves, of course they were careful to avoid Umbra coasts. Not that Umbra had any ports to visit. He chuckled to himself as he rubbed his bearded chin.
A soft laugh sounded behind him as his wife and co-captian of their ship stopped beside him. She rubbed her hand against his forested chin chuckling," No one would mistake ye for anything but a sea elf."
Captain Sharkon, (Sharky for short), Laughed jovially. "Nope. I be as piratey an elf as ever sailed the blue main."
Captain Gala shook her head in amusement at her husband, "Ye be talking more like a seadog every day my Sharky."
The male elf smiled roguishly, "Harharhar ye know it me beauty." They resumed their watch of the sea in front of them.
Captain Gala studied the seas, "Our lookout be the one to spot land first, not much need for ye to be standing out here."
Captian Sharkon Shrugged, "Ye know that landfall in sylestia always makes me a little nervous."
His wife laughed softly, "And to think ye were ever a landlubber. We should spot land soon, best call the crew together and decide who be going ashore to trade for supplies."
Sharkon smiled, "Aye aye me dear heart. We be havin work to do instead of starin at the sea."
Gala swiped at her husband's shoulder, "Come on ye merciless tease. Let get to work then." The two captains strode to the helm with Gala calling to their first mate, "Ahoy Prunperor pipe up the crew on deck for us will ye."

"Sure!" he said, flying with a gallop down to the main deck. When Prunperor arrived, he called to the crew with vigor. "Gala needs ye!"

(WHAT DO I DO WITH Tracey??!!! should I edit her to fit a general crew or something?)

Nicote sighed and stumbled up on deck. "Crabapples. I need a nap..." he mumbled.

Axel glanced over his shoulder upon hearing the call. "Just a moment!" He called back, setting down his quill and briefly looking over his maps. With a short nod of satisfaction, he stood up. "Come on, Coast." He added once he was halfway to the door. The Zolnixi's ears perked up at the sound of his name, and he jumped to his paws and bounded after Axel with a cheerful yip.

I hadn't decided yet. If we could get someone to create another crew for the Hammerhead it would help. If not she could be a temporary transfer to the Tigershark until her ship the Hammerhead is repaired or something like that. Might give us time to work out a solution to that problem at any rate.

Sharkon grinned at the assembling crew, "Avast there ye swabs time to decide who the lucky lot going ashore is to be."
His wife shook her head, "We've not sighted land yet, and already ye cant wait to get the work done and get back out on the waves again. When I took Ye to see with me I never thought ye'd not want to set foot on land again."
Sharky pouted slightly, "I went on land on out last treasure hunt didn't I. Shouldn't islands count."
Captain Gala grinned at her spouse, "Not in an argument with your wife, ye salty shark." Her husband could not help laughing at the matter as they waited for the crew to finish lining up.

Tracey slipped in next to Nicote. "Still sleep deprived?" She murmured.

She got a death glare from the Phirentic. "Shut. Up." He was in a better mood then usual though. As he was actually talking.

Gala and Sharkon looked around at their crew before holding a hasty whispered conference. Cpatain Gala stepped forward, "Prunperor and Nicote I'll be needin ye to come ashore with me to trade for what supplies we be needin. Axel, I'll leave ye and Tracey aboard with Captain Sharky as deck watch. We've no need to tell ye all to behave whilst we are in port."
Captain Sharly grinned at them, "Aye no gettin into fights with Esior residents or any other disorderly conduct." he winked at them, "Haven guardsmen don't take to kindly to those sort of things ye know."
Gala shook her head fondly, "Aye and ye and the deck crew do the same. We'll be back aboard no later than sunset. If all goes well we can set sail again tomorrow." They looked at the dark smudge on the horizon, "We'll be there within the hour, Prepare for landfall crew."

Axel, ever the optimist, threw a brief saulte in response. "Aye-aye! Stay on the ship, no rough housing or otherwise causing a scene," Axel chimed. Coast merely waved his tail, probably in affirmative.
