The land of Athaesia has long known peace. The creatures that live there love peace, and war is a distant memory.
But trouble is brewing: War. In the icy northern reaches of Athaesia, a mage summoned a demon that has set up a dominion over Athaesia. The few not under his control, the refugees, have fled to a small island to the south, where a bastion of warriors who have been training for just such a threat.
