Basically, have the Block ability be able to block other pets if wanted.

The reason for this is because there was so many times that my main pet was half health and just got stunned for two turns by the ancient ent, and then right after the ent cast that big stun/hit thingy. i forgot what's it called. and since my main pet was stunned, she can't do anything except sit there and wait for the blow to hit her! Its very annoying. So im just like, what if my other pet, could shield her? Basically taking all the damage instead. Like what normal friends and comarades would do. maybe. Maybe this is a good idea? idk, its just kinda sad that pets can only block themselves

What you're looking for is a 'proper' tank. An Earth-attuned pet is a prime example, with the ability to taunt enemies and force them to attack it instead of its allies, in addition to defensive abilities that enable it to take a severe beating and survive (a light healer pet to support helps of course).

Water pets have the abilities to put shields on pets other than themselves too. Check out the abilities of Shadow/Earth/Water pets if you like having a pet that supports/defends allies.

Qlso, ligt pets cna heal other part mmbers so that heps a little, my current team is literally on an all pets are tanks thing so yeah havent died unlessby eleane yet lol....and the only thing keeping me alive is my light pet

But yeah the water element blocks other pets.
