Spirits and wraiths have been at war for longer than anybody can remember. Nobody even remembers what caused this war to break out. What they do remember is the violence. The raids brought upon innocent people for no reason. The towns destroyed because of a single person. The people that have died because of the feud.

But they haven't lost hope. They can't lose hope- they won't lose hope. They won't stop hoping for peace until it arrives.

Because if they lose hope.. it's all over.




General backstory:

Wraiths and spirits are at war and have been for centuries. Everybody is trying to stay confident, but that confidence is starting to fade, making a conclusion to the war more important than ever.
For this roleplay wraiths will be shown generally as the protagonists and spirits as the antagonists.


Species/ race info:
Wraiths- Creatures of negativity, such as plague, sorrow, and death. They usually are small birds, rats, or insects, but their form differs to each person.

Spirits- Creatures of positiveness, such as healing, light, and life. They tend to take the form of rabbits, kittens, or other 'cute' animals.

Info for both- They cannot shapeshift, but they have a human and animal form. They always have wings in their human form. They always appear to be made of smoke in their animal form, and their eyes retain this smoky appearance in both forms.
They always have magic, and their magic depends on their type. For example, a plague wraith will have sickness related powers, a life spirit will have life-giving powers, etc.

Humans- Yes, humans are a thing in this RP. I don't think they need much explanation, expect that they're on the spirit's side.

Half-spirits- Human-spirit/wraith hybrids. Basically they're spirits or wraiths that tend to have less magic.

Neutrals- Spirit-wraith hybrids. They tend to be chaotic, disabled, or both.

In human form is a thin blonde-haired girl with cat-eye glasses, thick wings that look a little like spiderwebs, and the same hourglass symbol on her neck. She has fangs like in her spider form, but doesn't bite unless she has to.
Sexuality: Pan
Personality: Acts slightly haughty, friendly, (extremely) flamboyant, cheerful, joking, playful, optimistic, tends to act a lot dumber than she actually is, doesn't realize when she's gone too far, loud, annoying at times, reacts to bad situations by trying to make things seem more light-hearted.
Powers/ Special abilities: Can create webbing whenever needed, venomous bite, can sense any living being nearby without needing to see/smell/ hear them, can cause minor ailments such as dizziness or nausea.

Backstory: She's always used positivity as a way to mask her negative emotions. This makes it hard to tell when she's actually upset, because she'll simply smile and laugh if somebody's hurt her. Internally she's quite anxious, and secretly hates the war and all the trouble it causes. She's actually quite self-conscious and feels like every bad thing that has happened is in a part her fault.
Other: None

It's all good, but royalty don't tend to have multiple magics. All the powers work fine no matter what element you choose so it's not a big deal, but you do need to choose one to keep and one to toss.
