Basically, this is stemmed off of a dream I had, and I thought it was RP material, so here we are:
The world is ruled by robots, everything electronic has turned on the people, and too many of them have fallen under the jurisdiction of the AI. Some against their will, but some wanted to. Little microchips were implanted into the brains of the participants, raising their physical functions, as well as their cognitive ones. What many didn't know, however, was that the chips also changed your mind to resemble one of the robots, and also made you obedient to the AI.
A few things I was thinking the robots could've invented were hand-sized cubes, that when thrown on the ground and activated, they result in gigantic pyramids (think Pyramid of Giza but with metal) that house hive minds of robots. At the bottom there would be Guardians, big, fast, and strong robots with thick metal making them hard to destroy. Once you get past them (probably by outrunning them), you reach the inner levels. Complex mazes, puzzles, traps, and more robots to fight (sometimes there are also controlled humans). There are about fifteen levels of them, depending on the size of the pyramid. At the very top is the AI controlling the hive mind as well as the crystal that powers the entire pyramid. If the crystal is taken out of the power source, the entire pyramid collapses back into the cube, compressing everything with it. If there is too much mass (say a large party of people take out the crystal) when the pyramid collapses, it will explode, releasing all of the mass in it, basically creating the effect of an Atom Bomb. Controlled humans usually carry around the cubes, setting them up in populated areas to try and get more people under the robots' control.
There would probably be gadgets like electrocuting things, as well as things that grapple, but probably nothing that kills. The humans that aren't controlled wouldn't use anything electronic, for fear that it could be turned against them, and they also probably wouldn't be using guns, mainly because of the ricochet of the bullets off of the metal of the robots. They'd probably be using bludgeoning weapons, like baseball bats, crowbars, maces, hammers, etc.
For now, the playable 'races' would split into four categories:

AI (you'd probably have to contact me to play this)
Guardian (you'd probably have to contact me to play this too)

Very Trusted (robots give you a lot of important assignments)
Fairly Trusted (robots give you some important assignments)
Trusted (robots give you a few important assignments)
Not Trusted (you're probably going to get another chip jammed into your head soon)
Malfunctioning (you're probably going to get a lot of parts replaced to make up for that)
Useless (you're going to get killed very soon (you might want to escape if you even have the brain power to resist robot control!))
Cyborg (people don't trust them because they think they're controlled by robots)
Types of Add-ons: (the more add-ons you have, the more likely robots will be able to high-jack you)
Better Ears (you can hear better)
Better Nose (you can smell better)
Better Eyes (you can either see better, or also see in infrared/x-ray)
Claw Arm (you can grapple and smash things, but don't have fingers)
Taser Fingers (you can electrocute people by touching them)
Gripping Hands (you can climb on almost any surface (only works if you also have gripping feet))
Harpoon Arm (you can shoot off a harpoon from the harpoon gun that is your arm)
Turtle Back (you have super hard metal on your back that can protect you from almost anything)
Fast Legs (you can run faster)
Strong Legs (you can kick harder, as well as carry more)
Gripping Feet (you can climb on almost any surface (only works is you also have gripping hands))
Propeller Feet (you can swim faster as well as float for tiny bits at a time)
Human (basically any humans at this point are rebels against the robots)
Ranks:
Rebel Leader (you'd probably have to contact me to do this)
Rebel Scout (you scout around the pyramids)
Rebel Infiltrators (you go into the pyramids and try to take them down (you also die a lot))

I also kind of want this to be a community thing, in which I mean everyone could contribute to building the world, so I think it's fine if you have suggestions of things to put into the world and such.
