Hello, everyone! So I've been trying to clear out my hoarde of outfits I really don't need (and my hatchery...and my stables...*ahem*) and then i noticed a bunch of new users who came in. Then I looked around and realized that there's a lot of groups like Free Eggs and Free Gold and all that on the groups and guilds section of the forums, but to tell the truth, how many newbies actualy go on the forums? There's probably somethign like 1 newbie who posts on the forums for every 3-6 who don't. Or just don't dare to post/even step foot there/even get to that point because they're, well, new. Or shy. Or complete unsure what to think or what to do. (Or are like me, who can't figure out pings until it's way too late.)
So yeah, that's basically what this thing would be for. I already make newbie packs (a bunch of avi items, some gold/pets) whenveer i see a new player on the forums....but....,
I know we already have a preetty clear forum system, but stuff gets moved down a few pages, some stickied threads are half-dead, and tbh, not everyone is willing to post something for the first time on a strange new game where they have no idea what they're doing.
So Idk, I guess what I'm saying is that we should have like an overall thing where we actuallly GO to the users (I know Miss Wooly did that to me-actually brought me into the forums, thanks!)
Oh and sorry for such a long post. But well, you know...I ramble.
(BTW, if I pinged ya, it's cuz you guys already do stuff liek this, but centered on a certain area)
Probably a stupid idea that popped into my mind while lying in bed (why?) but jus let me know what u guys think ;) (And yes, I am aware of the mentoring group)
Wait...why am I still rambling?! (I gotta stop doing that...and getting sidetracked)

Also, I prob didn't get everyone...I just grabbed whoever I could think of and whoever I've noticed within the last 2 days, so sorry if I missed you or you're really not interested

This seems pretty cool :)
I'd be happy to help out. I don't have much to give besides pets, projects pets, and "pick-the-parents" eggs, however.

1: during fests when there's stuff like stocking and ToT u can see pretty much every player.
2: ...maybe looking at last newbie post, then typing in search is and see who pops up?
