I've seen people selling it there, but when I go to my inventory and select it, the Broker Item option is not available to me. Although, when I select Fairy Mushrooms, the Broker Item option lights up and I can sell it on a trade. What's wrong, am I lacking something?

I assume you are trying to sell the ones you got from the advent calendar, yes? All of the items from the advent calendar are not tradable, which means you can't sell them on the broker.

Awww, that sucks! Because I don't really need those philters and would love to share them with people who would actually need them... Well, maybe some day I'll buy a pet from someone and change its name at some point... Thanks for the answer!

You can however set up an agreement were a player will "sell" at pet to you and you than use the philter in that pet and "sell" it back to the owner
