Is there a nother way to get diamonds other than trading or buying with real money?

Unfortunately not, once you save up some gold, you can exchange them for diamonds in the currency exchange though, so you can get by without spending money :)

There is however one day during the winter rewards calender that you get a few duamonds as a present.
