Ive worked on getting through the Enigmatic Grotto for weeks before giving up. Is there a bug or something? I would really like to get through the place.

There is your problem!! You have to win a set number of battles before you can move on

Your welcome!! I had the same problem when I began. I retreated from everything and it took me a month to do a dungeon (i now battle everything and get it done in an hour)
