Since it's been a little on-topic anyway, I did think of something that would at the very least make Mystical Essences more appealing - at least to breeders like me. 1,000 diamonds (10 bucks) is a lot of money for what is essentially an epic-level pet with chosen colors and traits. Typically players can breed or buy something similar for a lot cheaper, so why not add something to Mystical Essences to make them stand out more?

150 base mana. Currently the only way to acquire this tier is through Mythical and Legendary pets captured in The Lost Grove and the captured (not eggs) LG themed pets, all of which are extremely hard to come by and chances are, you're not getting a species you want to invest all your time and effort into anyway or it's found by someone who isn't even into breeding. I want 150 mana projects - on everything eventually - but right now it's a long, tedious waiting game for the right circumstances to hit, and for some it just isn't possible.

Giving Mystical Essences 150 mana will also allow for the non-LG species to acquire that tier - the Aeridini, Griffi, Ryori, Lighira, Puffadore, and the Ny'vene, none of these have a means of 150 mana which has already affected the appeal of maxed stats for these species. (I've seen this in region chat a few times, where people say it's regrettable that their Griffi team will be obsolete since it has no way to compete for the future of stats pets. Lesser mana tier, no wild stats since there currently isn't a way to get Lost Grove's wild stats on the species that don't exist in TLG... At least giving them a means of reaching the top tier of mana will help them a little in that regard.)


Just a thought. The only pets I see as being worth the years I invest in a breeding project are the best of the best. After TLG came out and 150 mana became a thing, I dropped any project that wasn't already at or close enough to maxed stats. There's no point raising a 100-mana Parrot Tulip Draeyl to maxed stats because I'll just have to start over with a new LG theme for 150 mana later. My Iridescent Qitari, made from Mystical Essences a while back? Also no longer worth the effort of maxing stats because they fall short on base mana; now I'm working with the Mossy Meadows theme instead.

150 mana on Mystical Essences... I wouldn't just want some. I would NEED them. And I'd go out of my way to make sure I can afford them. >__> eventually...

I personally don't use essences, cause to me it's a lot cheaper to just breed from random pets, and dye the final outcome. And with all the different base stats/wild stats/mana currently, I feel like my previous max stat team is not as ideal, but it would be too much effort to find the right pets, with the right traits, and start over.

If mystical essences had 150 mana though, I'll be way more likely to save up and buy those.

In all my years playing this game I don't think I have ever bought or used a single mystical essence, but I definitely would if they created pets with 150 base mana. I've been trying to breed pets with higher mana and it's incredibly slow work, so being able to generate a few with 150 would improve my projects immensely.

Love this idea. I too never buy mystical essences, but if they had 150 mana, I would definitely be buying them...quite a few of them.

I like my max stats to have specific traits as well as the max stats and that is a real pain when the only pets you can find to work with 150 mana have completely random traits. And that is assuming you can find any of the species you are interested in.
