(Hello, welcome to my first RPG sign-up thread! I figured I didn't want people randomly distorting gameplay with a new character, so I made a sign-up!)

You were walking around in your neighborhood. It had been a year since you first tried something of the Insmith Industries called the Dating Game, shut down a month later due to "technical difficulties", although no one believed that. Rumor had it that all the minority religion believing people had it shut down due to their gods and goddesses being there. It wasn't the good ones they worried about, it was the bad ones.

But that was besides the point.

You were walking, and then a small girl, maybe 5 years old, ran into you and fell over.

You turned around to see her quickly get back up, scratches all over her arms.

"Are you okay?" you ask her.

"F-Fine, miss. F-For you," she stuttered, handing you a golden laced envelope before running off again.

The envelope was addressed to you in a looping writing of an ink quill. You open the letter up.

Blah blah blah, blah blah blah New Dating Game...

You stopped, then read the letter more fully. It appears that you, as well as nine others, were invited to try out the new dating game, called "Date Your Fictional Crush!" It discussed that there would be extras filling in as townsfolk, and how there were heroes and villains alike. It also discussed that no gods or goddesses were in this new game, although the reason why was not stated. Also, and you gasped out loud, everything would be "as real as real can be!"

With a check of the rules, you ran to the address given, to try this cool game out!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, and welcome! Here are the rules of the game and of the RPG in general so we can get this out of the way.

Rules of the game (Can be broken)
1. Don't date the extras. Your goal is your crush, not townsfolk.
2. Don't bring the characters out of the Date Town. They'll explode.
3. Don't attempt to use real money. There are cash to dats machines located around this town.
4. Don't sleep at a townsfolk's house. There are free hotels

Dats are the money used in Date Town. They stand for Dating A Troublemaker, after the Dating Game, where the first fictional characters were evil.

RPG Rules (Can't be Broken)
1. Please don't complain if I mess up a character. Instead, PM me and tell me politely that I mess up so and so.
2. All the fictional characters that you can date will either be outright flirty, or flirty once you know them, as they are programmed that way, so please don't complain if the worst character ever starts flirting with you.
3. Try your hardest to get a certain character doesn't mean ignore everyone, so at least talk to one other character you meet.
4. HAVE FUN!
5.OP characters aren't allowed (duh)
6. Don't be that person who searches the crown and instantly finds their crush.
7. Please don't mention any negative god's, goddess's, or devil's name. I don't want to violate someone's religion.
8. Keep the romance PG-13

You can die. If you do die, you'll be added to the end of the waitlist.
You may add gold into this game, but not money. 1 gold = 10 dats
All normal expenses (food, clothes, hotel stay) are free. However, it costs dats to buy gifts or to take someone out on a formal date.

And now the form:

I'm a bit confused, is this an rpg or an rp?
Is it multiplayer or singleplayer? Are we making our characters to suit another persons?
What is the world like, is it possible to make things or develop skills that can help us get to another person? What if our character doesn't find flirting attracted? Is there some sort of plot line? Is it all about spending time with your crush and you can't really make friends and do silly games?

Lots of questions, I know, but I just want to understand before/ if I sign up. My ping list is looking full so no promises.

This is an RPG.

Multiplayer. Um, to suit fictional characters such as those from cartoon shows, or other TV, books, and media.

The world, at least Date Town, is more of an urban area type. For the skills, no.

If they don't like flirting, then it'll be harder for them to play. No plotline as of yet. No, it's not all about spending time dating, as there'll be games to play in town. And for the characters that aren't flirty immediately, you'd have to be best friends for the flirtyness to begin, so you can friend fictional characters.

I think this answers all your questions. Let me know if I need to clarify some of the answers.
