I understand the purpose and intent of infertility philters, and can respect why people use them. I do not fault them for that.

However, there should honestly be a counter to that to reverse the effects. Even if it is a costly endeavor. And make things if anything at all maybe rare to find, buy, and or achieve.

My suggestion is to make a counter for those willing to try for it. Or even offer it in specialized events on rare occasions.

I am against this. This could be used to refertizle pets like Maxstats and special project, which are made to be infertile as to not let the hard work of one user be more easily spread and used by other players for breeding purposes. This would bring a major hit to the Maxstat market as if that was induced into the game anyone could get a maxstat as long as they had a breeding pair.

I completely understand your reasoning.

That is why I didn't say make it easy to obtain. And make it rare or available for a costly purchase in or during only certain events.

How about only the origanal owner can refertile them. Id be ok with that.
I breed projects and infertile my offspring, I have accedently infertiled a pet I wanted for breeding so oh well.

Against this. For the obvious stated reason that it would be incredibly easy for players to just hijack breeding projects. It being a super rare item still doesn't cut it.

In concern to the original owner/breeder being able to do it, I'm still iffy even then. There are very few max stat breeders out there and that last thing I'd want them to have to deal with is logging on to messages in their inboxes all the time with players asking to refertilize pets they've purposely infertilized.

For users who accidentally infeetilize a pet they didn't mean to, my best suggestion would be to have a 10 minute window after infertilizing to undo it.

I could agree to that the original owner being the only one whom could do that if permitted.

I by all means understand the need and desire to keep pets infertile. Especially for the max stat breeders, and or breeders that created beautiful beyond belief pets. I am not at all against it. I just feel that there should be an option to reverse it. Because what happens if you honestly made a mistake making a pet infertile that you didn't want to be? You'd be screwed. Your time wasted in a sense depending on your situation of course.

That is why I agree with your idea of only the original owner being able to do that for a pet. That way it would not only appease those against this idea of reversing infertility, but help those that make an honest mistake and need it corrected even if it is at a cost.

And for those that merely wish to undo what has been done, if they aren't permitted a way to reverse it. Be able to go to the original owner and work out a deal to reverse it in some way maybe.

Or even like Imperium stated, a small window of opportunity for the one whom made the pet infertile to reverse it. Even if it meant the philter to make it infertile became spent as a result.

Then again this is a suggestion and my honest opinion.

I agree with Eim, the only way I would like to see infertilizing able to be undone is a short window after it was done because of a mistake (however, there already is an 'are you sure, if you do this it can't be undone' warning window, so...).

Being able to use an item to undo the infertilizing, no matter how rare/expensive/whatever would make infertilizing pointless. Then we would undoubtedly be back to people not selling their max stats and proudest breeding projects because someone absolutely will go to the trouble to get said item because it's faster/easier/less work to do that than to breed their own (and in the case of max stats, likely cheaper).

So, yeah, not in favour of being able to refertilize infertile pets (except in that possible small window for oopses).

I am against the original idea, but I support Kope's suggestion.
