Shower Thought: An idea, thought, or concept that first comes to you when you are taking your morning shower or doing some other part of your morning routine.

Some shower thoughts:

You know when youre an adult when your house makes strange noises and youre more scared its a expensive repair bill rather than a monster.

If there's a star called the sun, where are its parents?

If the body has nephrons, then where are the auntrons, uncletrons, or niecetrons?

You know when you're a child when you cry over pressing the wrong button on a videogame. Oh wait, adults do that too.

Are the functions of a capillary to turn into a butterfly?

We should tell children that when a toilet flushes, it sucks out their soul. Then they'll be prepared for adulthood.

Its a good thing that gravity doesnt change like the weather.

There is a subtle irony in the fact that you can draw on an eraser.

If there's no such thing as unicorns, phoenixes, and other such mythical creatures, how can we know the names of them? And, follow-up question, if no one's seen them how can we disprove their existence?

We're always so worried about how we appear to others, but aren't others too worried about how they appear to us?

I it takes millions of light-years for light from the stars to get here, could some of the stars we see in the night sky already be depleted?

Is flavored water an oxymoron?

What is fire made of?

Where do sub-atomic particles get their energy? How?

Why do closed doors automatically make us curious, even when we know what's on the other side?

1. No, because water does have a taste.

2. Plasma

3. From the frustrations of physicists trying to solve the double slit experiment.

4. Because youre a cat.

1. We made up their names the same way weve made up ever word in every language that has ever existed: by putting together mouthy sounds until the delicate and small structures in our ear find a series of vibrations that translate in a pleasing way to the complex super computer inside our skull.

We cant. Thats why there are so many invisible pink unicorns and orbiting teapots.

2. Most definitely

3. Absolutely. Some of those stars also have planets. Some of those planets may have already been destroyed because their sun expanded and swallowed them up. Well never know what those planets were like and whether or not they contained life.

This isn't really a question, but one day, my brain just told me

"If you put a lasagna on top of another lasagna, it just becomes one lasagna, that's the power of lasagna"

And I'm not sure where it came from

When you lock the door on someone, you aren't locking them OUT, you're locking yourself IN.

Welp, there goes the magic ;-; except... invisible.. teapots....
But you make some good points, I'll give you that.

If water makes things wet, a) is it wet b) can it get wet?

Why is Picasso so famous?

If the universe is infinitely large, is it narcissistic to think we're alone?

If free verse poems follow no specific pattern but are used to get a point across, are we making poetry every time we communicate?

Why did anyone ever think it was okay to formulate an array of words we are specifically taught NOT to use?
