Avery Blackheart

Back in the common room Avery sat cross legged in front of the hearth listening as she fliped through her magical creatures notes from last year, she had taken the class early in place of herbology to spite her brother, not to mention Minerva had suggested she make the switch to tak and extra transfiguration class this semester. However, some of the other students seemed worried about the news, while others seemed to brush it aside. a broken wing huh? she thought, the consequences of an injury like that on such a young griffin seeming to cloud her mind.

-So... a griffin with a broken wing? Do you know a lot about magical creatures like that?- Tess asked, wanting to make conversation. The whip mark on her face had stopped bleeding by now, but would most likely leave a scar, though it wouldnt very likely be a permanent one. Tess sat in an armchair, her back completely straight as her hands were folded in her lap.

Evelyn went into the common room.She looked around at everyone and wondered what they thought about the griffin.Evie sat down on a sofa next to Avery."That was exciting!I wish I had seen the griffin.Baby ones are so cute!"She exclaimed happily"We learnt about griffins a couple of terms ago,remember? The teacher let you stroke one ."She told Avery
(You said your character started Care of magical creatures earlier so I'm going to assume she did it with Evie,who's the year above.Sorry if I'm wrong )

Alfie sat next to the fire,wondering about the griffin.He had never seen a griffin in his life and,honestly,was quite scared of them.He got out a book and read quietly.

Seeing as Evelyn was sitting next to and talking to Avery, Tess stood up, walking over to Alfred by the fire, sitting down next to him. -whatre you reading?- She asked quietly, hoping not to startle the boy.

Epsilon looked around curiously at all the Hfflepuff's he spotted Avery talking with another girl and went over to them. "Hey Avery that was really something huh? You think the griffin willl be okay?"

*i cant wait for herbology class... do you have a favorite plant? Do you think I could look at the book with you? Im a really fast reader so dont worry about turning the page to quickly* Tess asked, moving so she could see the book more comfortably.
