Just a collection of our own thoughts on possible additions that might be handy for people to have. Obviously just thoughts, because we have no idea how easy or how hard or how impossible things might be in battles against codespaghetti.
Search:
+(user) Time joined / (Pets) time caught/time bred
(would probably help with things like working out when themes are from, or sorting through offspring, maybe?)
Like "Between dates [xx/xx/xxxx] - [xx/xx/xxxx]"
+Stat range
(It would be so helpful. Especially for people looking for people selling max stats)
(A variant for Grove stats?)
+TP count
+Regennable y/n
(Sometimes you just want to look through pets for the ones that are epic or legendary or whatever, not "I want to see pets with G1, M1 and M2" or "show pets with G3 and M1".)
(Sometimes you just wanna search for regennables.)
(It would probably help mass-breeders a lot)
+by Battle count
+by Mission count
+If pet is in a party good point made on it defeating the purpose of the contest boards being anonymous
+y/n/either dropdown for infertile
+y/n/either dropdown for exp.nullified
+y/n/either dropdown for mutated
Generator:
+ perma-save maybe 10 colours (because when you're designing and have to re-load one colour every couple of alterations because you're trying to see if you might want to change it but don't want to lose it is annoying as heck and easy to forget to do, and then, whoops, it's gone for good)
+ Randomize traits (maybe with like... 25%nothing, 50% random carry, 25% random visible trait as the calculation, applying to each slot separately? I dunno)
++ Conjunction, ability to like... select what slots you want to randomize/not randomize?
(Saying this as a person who likes doing the designing for the theme contests, it would be real useful to have a randomize for traits)
Breeding Generator:
+ Ability to see pet's stats & potential offspring stat outcomes
+ Ability to see the trait genetics of parents and projected offspring
(Not sure how that'd work with untested pets, though, but heck if it wouldn't be useful)
+ Make the "Breed Pair" button into a "Proceed to breeding ground" (because dang it if I'm not always terrified when I go to play around that I might accidentally breed the pets when really I'm just there to mess around looking at potential offspring...)
Maybe split it into "Breeding Projections" and "Breeding Grounds", so people who know exactly what pets they want just go straight to the Breeding Grounds, but those who just wanna play around can go to Projections?
+ Some more logical sorting method than having to scroll through countless un-named pets trying to find the ones you want. Being able to 'tag' pets or something for sorting? Or like. A visual list, rather than just the pet names?
(I know other people have already expressed their thoughts on ways to organize the breeding grounds in other threads)
+ Ability to use Pet Image URLs, so that you can see what pets that don't exist or are the wrong gender or you don't own, or might want to mutate with something could have as offspring!
(obviously wouldn't work if the pets were different species and such)
(Wouldn't be able to proceed to the Breeding Grounds)
Other Generators:
> Breeding Colour Projector, where you input hex A and hex B and hit 'generate' and it projects ten potential colour outcomes at random.
> Colour Swing Projector, with settings like "Regular", "Enhanced", "Mystical", "Themed", where you can input one colour and it projects ten random potential colour swings within the swing range of that type?

Trying to sort through my regen MOTH is a huge nightmare.
The only thing is, I'm not sure if this would be difficult to code. There are a lot of variables being proposed, and they may be easy to implement, but I'm not a coder so I would not know

SUPPORT for sure! I love the updates lately, something like this would be a great addition.

I would have to disagree about being able to see if a pet is in a players' party because it kinda takes away the anonymity of the enemies defeated contests. People could just use that as verification if they suspect that someone is on a particular board, or figure out what board they are trying for by stalking their party pets and comparing it to the boards.

good point there, it didn't cross our mind (I think we've just spent too much time having to trawl through the stables of people who are struggling with progressing because what they actually need is to look over their party setup but don't include the links to the pets.)
