Hello! Complete newbie here. ^^'
I'm trying to make a starter pet but I'm running into some errors when I try to hit "generate pet" at the end. It tells me that I must select a valid trait for Mutation 1. I have a mutation selected for M1, and I thought we had 4 points for starter pets (unless I'm understanding the info blurb wrong) and I have used just 4. I also noticed, however, that where it says trait points, it starts with 0/0 instead of 0/4. So basically, am I unable to select mutations/genes or is there some glitch going on or what am I not noticing? Thanks for any help!

I dont know why it says 0/0 for the trait points but as for the invalid trait you might be trying to use a restricted trait (which cannot be generated). What trait is it?

I'd suggest PMing Krin with this so he can fix it (other people have had this 0/0 points thing happen to them on occasion)

(Our first thought was also 'restricted trait' (which you can read about here), but then you mentioned the 0/0 thing and we knew we'd seen it in the bugs forum before)

Oh, I see! It was a restricted trait. I didn't realize that was a thing...I just assumed if it showed up on the list I could use it, but good to know! I'll try again when I have time and hopefully the 0/0 thing won't cause further issues. Thanks!
