~Ferocious Winds~

The Lands of Sarcies (Sar-Seas) have been thrown into peril, the winds growing cold and harsh. Blizzards are constant and snow layers the ground, never melting. The food sources are scarce, only leaving small things that can survive through the freezing cold. It wasn't always like this, though.
There were once eight great clans of dragons, called Krowds (Said as Crowd). There are now only three, the five that were there are now forgotten, and extinct. The rest of the Krowds, Krowd of the Solstice, Krowd of the Equinox, and Krowd of the Eclipse survived by conquering the weak, after all, only the strong survive.
The ever-lasting winter was caused by one of the Krowds, a dragon with the power of snow and blizzards cursed this land after she had died. She cursed it in the name of the Krowd of the Eclipse. She was a part of the Krowd, but was ostracized and pushed aside.
She spoke of one way to drive away the bone-chilling blizzards, she spoke of an ancient spell, that could only be preformed by The Children of Four Winds or so she said.
This has never been tested, afraid she would only send them into more danger. Until one day five dragon whelps (Baby dragons) were born. No one knew it then, but they would change the way the wind blows, one footstep at a time.

The Lands of Sarcies is main up of three main islands,
The largest is mostly controlled by the Krowd of The Eclipse,
the second largest is mostly controlled by the Krowd of the Solstice,
finally, the smallest one is controlled completely by the Krowd of the Equinox,
along with all of the smaller islands closer to it.
This doesn't mean that one has more power than the other.

There are camps,
they are located near the center of every territory,
on the largest land mass they have.
The camps are very organized and the largest dens are the ones for
the Keepers and the Nursery.
Remember that this is winter,
THIS WILL NOT CHANGE,
well,
at least until the Four Winds Children save the land.
If you are not a Four Wind Child,
You do still play an important role!
You are there to support and help in any way you can.
REMEMBER! Some of the dragons are skeptics!

Lil' Bird scampered across the camp, waiting at the entrance to see the Flighters take off for their daily patrols and hunting parties. His tail swished side to side, kicking up snow. His pure white feathers making him blend in. His green eyes watched with interest at how the Flighters all seemed to take off at once. The colorful patterns blending together like they did every morning. After watching them take off, he decided to go back to the Watcher's den.

Cecilia listened to the crunching of the snow as small footsteps ran through them. She heard the flaps of all of the wings as the Flighters took off for yet another patrol. Its all kind of boring now, she smiled though, trotting back into the well-worn path to her den to try to sort the withered the plants again. Her den was warmer than most, she grows a lot of the herbs in there since its too cold for them outside. She flicked her tail side to said as she paced around cleaning her storage and making brand new piles.

"Wait!" Yata chirped raced behind the others, she was late, and her short legs and the deep snow did not help. As she opened up her wings a gust of freezing air lifted her into the sky ad she soon Joined the other Equinox Fliers in her first hunting endeavor.

Kuro Hovered over the Camp as he watched the Fliers take off into the white sheet that was now their world. They were running low of food, but everyone was doing their part. And he was trying his best as the new Keeper.... though he still doubted himself

Aririel blinked sleepily as he woke up in the nursery. He was still a whelp, so he was stuck here. He didn't mind. It was warm in here. He yawned and got to his feet. He was one of the bigger, and older, whelps and had been put near the entrance of the den. MAybe to make sure that if another whelp tried to escape without the nurser's knowledge, the older ones could stop it. Aririel stretched and yawned again, then padded outside into the snow. He loved the snow. He started jumping in snow drifts and sending snow everywhere.

Daku was up with the sun. His purple eyes rested on the flighters as they prepared to take off. He saw a couple watchers staring at all the dragons preparing for their patrols. He smiled slightly as he watched the sun rise higher and light up the flighters as they lifted off. The colorful wAve of dragons surged into the air as one. He sat back on his perch where he could see the whole of the camp.

Breeze shifted in his sleep as he heard one of the whelps crying in distress. He sighed and woke up. He always slept in the nursery to make sure all was alright while the children slept. He yawned as he walked over to where the sounds were coming from. He gently lowered his head to gaze at the small, red Dragon. It seemed she was having a nightmare. He nuzzled her to awake her.

crystal sat near the camp watching the Flighters. After the flighters left crystal sighed"better get to work."she said before heading back to camp with her tail trailing sadly behind her.

He looked around his den tiredly."Yaaay Mooornng." he rolled over and stood up,flaring his big wings.He cocked his head trying to warm himself up from the cold outside.He blew a puff of smoke

She listened to the sound of the others wing beats,among them she saw others below her and some above.She swooped down closer to the wintry woods lisiting for any movement or breathing.

Kemekien had been out since some ungodly hour, patrolling the island and making sure all was well for her people. She returned just as the first group of Flighters was taking off. She dipped a wing at them as a kind of salute, then came in for a landing. Her backwing sent a cascade of powdery snow over those watching. Her only sign of chagrin was an embarrassed cough, before she curled her head back around to groom the icicles from her wing tips.

"Fair morning!" she said briskly, once the ice was all off, leaving little dimples in the snow where the pieces had fallen.

crystal got back to the camp panting she shook the snow off of her and looked for a warm place to rest she then remembered she had work work can wait she thought before finding a spot under a tree to rest before she knew it she was asleep
