I want to create a more or less life-size plushie (which is not that big, according to this) of my Nephini Gloriosa
So I'm buying some fabric to make her. i kinda already know how to sew, but not very well (only 13 here!), so would anyone have any pointers for me?
:P Im only doing a nephini because its probably the second easiest from lunemara, its kinda just a noodle :D But does anyone have a template or something for a nephini? I'm currently creating one but its probably not very good

One of the tips my grandma gave me when I was doing a sewing project was after sewing it inside out use the eraser side of a pencil to help turn it right side out get all the corners nice. Also before u turn it right side out snip small triangles in the really tight corners so that its not just a bundle of fabric when ur done. I dont know if any of that helped but good luck.

Look at past contest entries to see who sews, knits, or crochets here. Maybe you could ask those who have done similar things to make suggestions.

Allright.
Fabric is EXPENSIVE, so save up.
Use a sewing machine for possible parts. It is way easier.
Place the two body parts on top of eachother, bold coloured sides inside. Sew along the edges. Keep one end open then turn the whole thing inside out, and you have a nice looking body piece. Stuff it if you want and sew with hand the hole shut. Hand sew on other parts.
Take your time and use the right colour of thread, if you, say, use black thread on yellow fabric, it will be very visible.
Have fun with it. That's the point, is it not?

Cover your thumb if your handstitching,it hurts when the needle cuts you from pushing.
If using a machine be careful
No matter how you do it,keep a steady rythm and your stitches should be around a even length apart
