I have five magic pies and a couple adolescents (and egglings) but the magical pie says to use it on a(n adolescent) pet's profile page, but like what is a pet's profile page/where do I use the item?

The pet's profile page is what comes up when you click on a Sylesti's name in your stables. From there, if you hit the Genetic Philter button under the Sylesti's stats, a popup menu will appear that you can pick the pie from.
