*Dawn holds her head low on her neck so that her horn doesn't get tangled in the many branches of the trees around her. Her purple, blue, white coloring stood out against the backdrop of green and brown.*

Kirk scampered along behind the graceful unicorn, loping as fast as his little legs would carry him to keep up with her walk. He was the first one to realize they weren't alone in the woods. Looking off to one side, he cried out, "Dawn, someone else is here!" To the new presence, he said innocently and curiously, "Who're you?"

*i glance over at the two presences, smiling softly* "my name is Cocoa, what is yours?" *my fluffy tail swaying as i start to walk over*

*Dawn turn her head to look at the newcomer with her Amethyst colored eyes and just as she did this her left wing was extended to the ground toward Kirk. (If you wish climb up and you can ride on my back. You won't have to try so hard to keep up.) She breathed deeply trying to find out if this new being would be a friend or foe.*

"Gee, I've never seen anything that looks like you before," Kirk said to the puff as he turned. "Cocoa is a pretty name."

Kirk looked with a combination of awe, respect, and alarm up the extent of Dawn's wing to her shoulder. "Are you sure I won't hurt your beautiful feathers if I climb up?" he said to her.

*She nods her head as she waited for Kirk* " (My name is Dawn.) Her thoughts gently entered the mind of Cocoa gently.*

"thank you, and what are you two doing in the forest?" *thinking about the homes in the forest and what the breed of the two newcomers are*

Kirk grinned a little impudently at the two. "I am just now finally old enough to wander the woods on my own, and I found Dawn wandering around here. We were just walking along together when we ran into you. Are you a wolf?" he asked Cocoa. "Grandma Cherri told me about wolfs. You're not supposed to talk to them. Or at least I'm not."

"i'm a puffadore, not a wolf, though sometimes when other animals come by, they call me a wolf and run" *i look at Kirk while my ear flicks* "which breed are you two?
