So all my pets died while I was fighting in the Lost Grove and I was forced to leave as is proper. I went to go heal my pets but instead of clicking to go to Ethernia I accidentally clicked on the Lost Grove again. It doesn't let you explore the Grove if you have no pets but it also will not let me go backwards out the portal so I'm sort of stuck in limbo. I don't want to hit Exit Zone and reset everything unless I have to.

Oh - oh. I understand. It's not that you can't, it's that you don't wanna hit the button. Haha.

Yea, I guess I can figure out a code thing for that situation so one isn't penalized.

I removed you from the Lost Grove. Just load the world map and you should be good to go.

I encountered the same issue last night. Got wiped out by Eleana, exited the barracks to restock on potions, forgot to heal anybody, and got stuck inside the grove. Wasn't thinking straight enough to warrant posting here at the time, so I'm doing it now that I've calmed down a bit.

Might I suggest that we have access to our potions even when our party is all unconscious? Probably the most confusing/frustrating part was that I couldn't even click the little inventory button /in the grove/ to revive a pet and escape that way.

Ended up just using the exit zone button. Frustrating, but it worked.

It's a bit of a mechanical issue atm that I'm not sure how best to address.

It's just a lot of overlapping restrictions.

Like, you can't use TLG consumables from Inventory because the Inventory is terrible and it's complicated to add/change things to it. Since they are TLG exclusive consumables, easiest thing was just to basically ban them from use from the Inventory.

You can't use consumables from the Barracks because there is no interface for it - I'd have to code it.

You can't explore with an unconscious Party because that obviously doesn't work. =P Everything else is shut down and blocked if your party is unconscious. Thus, you are frozen and stuck if it lets you back in, which...

It shouldn't and will probably be my first fix. Or maybe just have it auto redirect to the Barracks or Ethernia depending on if someone is at Stage 1 or past Stage 1.


I do agree that it would be nice to be able to use Consumables from the Barracks, but again, interface issues and all that. I'd have to code all of that and create it which is a bit time consuming.

This shouldn't happen anymore.

If you have no pets in your party - it will redirect you to the Party Manager page.

If you have no conscious pets in your party - it will redirect you to your Barracks if you are at Stage 2 or later. If not, it will direct you to the Party Manager page.

It's not the best solution, but it's the best I can do in a limited amount of time.

For clarification - I had meant that I couldn't even open the in-zone inventory thing. The little satchel-shaped button in the upper right where you can use potions and stuff while standing around in a zone. It wasn't accessible while pets were unconscious.

Thank you for the fix though. Hopefully I won't be dumb enough to make the same mistake again, but if I do, it's nice to know that I shouldn't get stuck again :'D
