Welcoming the newest and most beautiful addition to my family... Coconut!!! She's a Cinnamon Butter Double Het Hypo/Het G-Stripe (possible Enchi) Ball Python, and she's the absolute sweetest thing in the world. She's only 6 months old - and she's pretty small (she isn't expected to get as big as a regular BP).

She hasn't hissed or tagged once, and she curled her tail around my tank top strap and slept on my chest the entire 3 hour drive home. Also, she LOVES nose boops! She stretches out and rests her face on top of my nose! She hasn't done it with anyone else - the theory is she's checking out my glasses.

I tried to get a snake once because a friend of mine had one that I adored (she was just the sweetest thing), but unfortunately my grandparents (who I rent a house from) said no. Grandpa actually said he wouldn't mind it, but grandma thinks they are evil just by virtue of being snakes (she also thinks cat eyes steal people's souls, so best to just not have any pets she might hurt because of weird misguided beliefs).

I put some fake plants on her cage and she was out exploring within hours!! I'm so proud of her ^.^
