Okay, so the plot is two or three new kids have found the rings that lead to the other worlds. Unbeknownst to them, they still have potent magic coursing through them, and they find themselves in the In-Between, with all the portals to different worlds. Well, one of our characters falls into one of the pools, and the other(s) jump in after them. They then find themselves in Narnia.
