~Midnight~

i was tired of being caged up as a guard came up to my cage with a food tray, he slid it under the bars and watched me eat, as soon as i was done and pushed the tray back through the bars, "wait could i stretch my wings they get cramped easily." i said to the guard, "your wings ain't showing so shut up!" the guard yelled at me. i changed into my true form my black barn owl wings taking up half of the cage, my black wolf ears hearing other Shape-Shifters, my black fox tail swaying back and forth, my body covered with black fur.

Blue watched a guard come to her cage. She jumped up and ran over. Are you here to talk to me? I was getting super bored! Whats your favorite color? Do you like hummingbirds? I can turn into a hummingbird! I can also turn into a pheonix! Wanna see? she asked. He shook his head and walked off. Blue sat back down. She frowned. So bored! she mumbled.

Starly looked at the guard an evil look in her eye....He glared back and slid her food, she ate it then threw the Tray at him

i saw a shape-shifter that mumbled something, i walked over as close i could to the shifter and said, "hey, i'm nini, a bit of advice the guards don't care bout us except to keep us caged up."

They have a heart, they might care, they are just afraid to show it. Blue said confidently.

"they may have a heart, but its probably a stone heart, and i doubt they would ever like us, were shape-shifters they are scared of us they hate us." i said my ears flicking back and forth. My wings started fluttering, i wanted to stretch my wings and fly.

Sitting against the grided side of her cage she sniff around, they had put a kind of blinfold on her head that doubled as a muzle after her last incident. With her only being able to hear and smell since then she coudn't even walk proprely anymore, at least that what she let them belive.

Dont be so sure! she said. She crossed her arms.

Hita pranced around the cage, singing a happy tune. It was almost unsettling to be honest
