I was thinking about working on a breeding project eventually when I noticed that one of the themes I got recently had a black accent 2. I thought that was unusual and compared to previous years which used the eye color as the accent 2. I then started looking at more themes from the zone and it seems widespread and this means themes that were reused this year don't match with last year's. This now affects certain traits now that do use the accent 2 color which makes breeding projects rather weird.

I've grown kinda used to it though I hate it with the offspring I've been breeding but for it to be with the tagged is there anything that can be done? I suppose I can try to set this one project aside from now for whenever we get to going through all the accent colors for themes and getting them properly assigned. However, come to think of it, I noticed the black color with the lunes in the zone, too.

I know it's probably a pain but I really think there should be an option to at least fix the lunes.

Hm. The Themed is set to have an actual AC2.

Do you know - when you encounter these prior to catching, do they have them set?

Trying to determine if they're broken when spawned or broken when caught.

I'll try to find out. I just got home from a Christmas dinner and I need to do a few things. I think I have a perfume though so I can try to look as soon as I get to sit back down for a bit. Thankfully, I still have a bunch of the one time use scanners from the wheel.

Unfortunately it seems like this is how they're spawning.

Okay. That is helpful and probably easier to fix (less things in the process to go through).

I'll take a look when I can.

Looks like there was a simple mistake causing this. =(

I think it should be fixed now whenever you're able to confirm.

Thanks for fixing this! I haven't run into a themed yet but I checked the newest caught themes and it seems to be working right. The non-lunes have the accent 2 as their eye color and here's a fairy lights lune with it's more specific accent 2. https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=3663836

Would there be any way to have an option to fix at least the lunes that had the black accent 2 since they've already had their accent stuff done? I guess if nothing else though at least this was caught pretty early on in the fest.

I will probably try and fix this when I get a chance, but it will require me figuring out how to manually find these pets and adjust or some sort of thing like that - whatever I decide to do.

I didn't notice it until just now but hatchlings are turning up having black accent colors. This doesn't seem to be an issue with the wild ones caught as an adolescent or adult.

Here's examples. I'll use lunes because they have planned out accent colors already, but this issue seems to be affecting all hatchlings of every species.

I think I found the source of the issue and fixed it.
