"Ready to go kiddo?" The man asked as he picked up the harness made to fit the hatchling Baryonyx that he had been raising. Loud footsteps could be heard as the girl raced down stairs, nearly falling over the last ones.
"Finally! Come on, I can't wait any longer!" She said picking her bag up and rushing to the front door.
"Slow down Mags,we aren't going out that way." The man said opening the back door.
"What? How come?" Confused the girl looked at him before reluctantly following him down the stairs into the back yard. "Why the backyard?"
"You'll see." Dean smirked opening the back door. "Lilith, I have someone for you to meet!" He called. After a moment the hatchling rushed up to greet him, cooing as she did. Even though she was only a few months old she was already nearly as tall as his waist, and weighed as much as a grown sow pig (about 300 pounds).
"No way! You have a dinosaur in your backyard?! Why didn't you tell me?" Excited Maggie reached out towards the animal, palm out for her to sniff. Nervously Lilith backed away before slowly inching forward to sniff the girl. She didn't seem to smell like danger to say the least.
"Didn't want you bugging me about it did I?" With that he latched the harness about the hatchling before leading her towards the gate. "Come on then, we don't want to keep the others waiting." It took about an hour to get to the square, passed everyone wanting to play with Lilith, or take selfies with her to Mags many questions,though they eventually made it. "Sorry to keep you waiting, there is a lot more people here than I remembered." Dean apologized to his coworkers.

"It's alright." Venadlynn said crossing her arms. "So, is this your daughter, or your niece?" She said in her school-nurse-monotone voice, studying the girl for any scratches or bruises.

Alexis chuckled. "Oh, be nice," she said to Venadlynn. She extended a hand out to the girl. "Hey there. Maggy, right? You can call me Alexis," she said with a smile.
