Spencer looked around at the new colorless. Would they come with him? He repeated the phrase from earlier. "Come with me, if they find out what color your blood is they'll kill you." A girl appeared beside him, he recognized her as the one he had met earlier on the train. He had managed to tell her ahead of time what was wrong with her blood, and she hadn't believed him at first. When he cut her finger lightly, the drop of clear liquid had convinced her.

Irene looked around at the other sixteen-year-olds. Three girls, one boy. All her age. The boy who had told them about her blood color was probably a year or two older than her, and she was curious to see who he was talking about- the people who were going to kill them. "Who's gonna kill us?"

The boy turned his gaze to her. His eyes were bright and fierce, kind of scary. "My f-, I'm sorry, the President will send his assassins to kill you."

"And why should I trust you, a person who came up out of nowhere to whisk me away? You could be looking for someone to show you a time. Give me your reasons, and I may consider it." I'm not sure about this. Father always said for me and Skade to stick together, but I see him up at the wrist cutting booth. He's an orange, thank god.

Blue shook her head. This is..... very interesting! But why would they want to kill us because of our blood color? What is wrong with our blood? Does our blood somehow make us dangerous? she asked. Her eyes were wide, whether of fear or of fascination was unclear.

"Do you want me to show you?" He growled at the girl, flicking a knife out of his pocket. "Give me your hand." Irene pushed in front of him, looking at the girl.

"He's being serious, he showed me. Why would he need to lie?"

Spencer turned to the girl. "They kill us because the serum never generated colorless blood until now. The government doesn't know what to do with us. As colorless, we have enhanced abilities that the others do instead of being skilled in one thing."

I take out my knife and cut myself a little bit. A single drop of clear blood comes out, and I quickly lick the blood off so as to not alert the authorities. I then take a tiny pinch of dried orange dust, and put it on my wrist, smearing it a bit to make it look like I already took the test.
"Anyone else want some?" I say, matter of factly.

Spencer laughed dryly. "You think that'll work? Go ahead. They do checks every month, and keep a record. They'll make sure you take the test correctly and that you're blood is consistently that color. I'm not stopping you, but going back there is suicide."

"I never said I wasn't coming." I roll my eyes as I say this.
"Family life is getting boring. Why not adventure a bit?" I ask, stepping over the guy's side.
"Worst comes to worst, I have a knife and I know how to use it."

"You won't need that much," He replied. "There are many of us colorless. We need to get to the headquarters to Prismara." Spencer said. "She's the leader of the Colorless and the starter of the rebellion. My name is not of importance so don't bother asking what it is." The boy looked at the other three people.

"Better to be safe than sorry." I mumble. I don't feel like getting in trouble right now.
