I totally just destroyed Cerith. Took me a heavy toll of 11 elixirs to finally beat him. Afterwards, I fixed up, healed with what little I had left (which wasn't much) and explored the Fungus Grove again. Then I was attacked by him. Again.

I was rather upset, to say the least. Especially considering I was cleaned out of healing stuffs. So I got destroyed, and throw out into the dark again.

Please help me. It took a lot of farming to get that far. About an hour's worth.

I can't help you regarding Cerith reappearing again but I figured I could look at your team and see if I could help with any advice that would make battling itself easier. You only have one team member so far? Are you able to get the second team spot yet in Esior's Haven?

Regarding Kyoto, I see she has an earth proficiency. This is a physical damage tanking tree. You would better benefit of gear that would be more for physical damage pets. Assassin has physical damage plus agility. If you use her as a tank, then this is what you would want to aim for with gear. However, some relics do have the wrong type of battle damage. You'd want one with physical damage only. If you decide to use her for damage, then I would suggest myrmidon which is strength and dexterity instead.

I checked the broker and found some gear that I'll send you. It probably won't last too long since leveling's pretty quick but it should give you a bit of a boost. I think really at this level earth is kinda weak. You might want to try out water proficiency for a tank instead if you want to keep physical damage. If you can get a second team member, you might want to try a light proficiency pet. You would use evoker gear and magical damage for it. You could also try a more damage oriented pet like fire or air. Fire would also use evoker; air would use myrmidon.

Thank you for looking into this! And no, I looked into adding a party slot but I don't have enough for it at the moment. I'll farm again until I do. And thank you for the gear! I'm sure it'll help a great deal.

I went ahead and advanced your progress past the battle.

I took a look and saw you already have loot from the Cereth battle and took that as proof of victory.

I am not sure why things did not process properly for you.

Are you able to recall anything odd happening after you completed the battle?

I think there was some sort of raid going on in the meadow at the time and immediately after killing Cereth I ran into one of the creatures that were a part of the raid and they killed me. After regaining some health, I went back there only to find a very alive Cereth.
