I've a few suggestions.
1.) A more advanced way of selling pets. As it is now, pets stay in your Stables/Hatchery. What about a system where those pets can be put up for sale, and are put into a special Sales window (Could call it Sales Stables/Hatchery?). It would remove the pets from your actual Stables/Hatchery, freeing up those spaces. Make it three windows (Stables/Hatchery), first one for pets put up for auction, allowing users to 'bid' on those pets. They would have a three day timer placed on the auctioned pets. When the timer runs out, the user with the highest bid, acquires that particular pet.
The second window would be for Direct Sales. This would allow users to buy specific pets outright. No waiting on an auction.
And the Third window for Private/Reserved Sales. Users can put pets in there that are being sold to one specific user. Only that specific user is able to see this sale.
2.) What about a shop where unwanted pets could be sold to for say 5k max. That pet would then be displayed in a window with all other pets. Then users can buy those specific pets. Pets could stay in this shop for say, like a month, from the time it came into the shop, then on the 30 day mark, if not sold it can be auto-released.
3.) What about some type of an alert for you Stables being full and no room for new pets coming from your Hatchery. Give a time limit to allow user to make room for those pets, either releasing or selling them. This way, your new pets coming from your Hatchery won't be automatically released without your permission. It's not really fair that they are auto-released when no room in your Stables, and then to get them back you have to pay with Diamonds. Not many of us are able to acquire Diamonds. This option would coincide great with Option 1 and 2 easily. Say a three day timer (or whatever timer is chosen) to make room in your Stables, by placing pets on the Market (either Auction, Direct Sales or Private/Reserved Sales) or selling them to the Shop of Unwanted Pets (<only name I could think of at the moment.) to be sold to users who may want them.
These suggestions would and could be another way for users to 'earn' gold. I know when I first started, it was very hard to 'ear' that gold without the proper pets to battle with or send on missions. And with the prices of acquiring new tabs within our stables or a stable in general being so high, many get discouraged. I know I did. Thankfully, there are many nice people here who are willing to help a newbie out (unlike other sites I have been on). I personally don't mind helping others out, in fact I enjoy helping where I can, but if there were another way to 'earn' the gold, it would be a lot less stressful on not only the newbies, but also all of us.

What does everyone else think about this idea? I think it would be nice and it would help people...especially the newbies like myself, earn more gold.

It Could work, But some people release the hatchery pets so others wont use their projects untill they are ready to sell the "Perfect" Project offspring
Besides think of all the extra programming it would take!

Hmm you might be right on the programming, but then perhaps an extra stable or something for people. A very large one to hold Sales pets only. It would remove them from your own stables, and place them into a special stable to be sold. But even then, that might be pricey and the programming. I just though a main Sylestia Stables...Sales pen if you will...that all could 'sell' their unwanted pets to at a base rate, depending on traits...it would give a little extra gold, especially to those who are new and struggling to get enough gold to open up new tabs in their stables, of for mission and party slots. I personally know what a struggle that is, and I'm not much of a newbie any longer. And I'm sure many older members also know what a struggle that is.
Sure there are a couple places in the forums where you can 'ask' for help with gold etc...like the Wishing Well, and the Grant a Wish. But, as nice as those threads are, if you are like myself...I don't like asking for help...unless I am at a crossroads where there is no other choice to make.
Heck...if i had the extra stables/space I would personally run it. But, that is beyond my expenses at this point. With the costs of extra stables and/or tabs being pricey as they are...
