No one knows how it started, only that it did. Florida, a place of happiness and beaches turned into a wasteland in nearly a week and that was only the beginning. The virus spread like wildfire from there until the whole world was in shambles. The dead rise again seeking the flesh of those that are living. Only a handful of healthy remain. We were strong enough to not get infected though many of us still fall victim to the bites of the dead or even to our fellow humans. But as life goes on we learn to adapt, evolve even so we can survive! We get weapons and we learn to fight back. As a race the humans have this tendency to bounce back from near total extinction due to a few that are determined to live. We grew smarter than the enemy and overcome it or die trying. We are survivors.

So this is a zombie apocalypse role play about a group of people that band together to try and reach the west coast where the military say they are going to be to pick up survivors. There will be gore and profanity used in this rp, you have been warned. Please try to make your character(s) (Max is two per player) different from the others, I would rather there not be four kick-ass woman played by the same person. Use some diversity, remember we need a doctor, a leader, and so on.

Name- Kyle Simmons
Age- 34 years

Relationship status- currently not in a relationship, heterosexual
Strengths- Kyle is a confident person whom isn't afraid of what others think of him as long as they don't treat him differently because he is handicapped. Due to his military experience he knows his way around the war zone and guns. His sense for survival is one of the main things keeping him going. His aim is spot on with nearly any gun if given the right amount of time to test it out.
Weaknesses- Due to an injury from the war zone he lost feeling in his legs bounding him to a wheelchair. He hates when people point it out as well, and will get angry very quickly when they say he can't due something because he is in a wheelchair. Kyle may not be the stealthiest nor the fastest either due to the wheelchair. And stairs pose a huge threat as well.
*Phobias/fears- he's afraid of the water seeing that there's no way he would be able to swim.
*Backstory- Kyle lived a rathe normal life as a child all the way up until graduation when he went into the military. All he wanted was to protect his country and fight for the family he left behind. After his first four years in service though his lick took a turn for the worse. He got word that his mother had had a stroke, and that she had to live in a nursing home. If that wasn't enough then his father became ill over grief for his wife. His family slowly slipped from his grasp as he simply sat and read letters on their conditions. It was at that time that his friend, Greg, was there for him. Greg had lost his family in a similar manner thus he helped Kyle get through the harder times. But nothing could have prepared them for what was to come next.
They were on the battle front taking heavy fire from an old abandoned building when it happened. Kyle was sent to ambush the house from the back along with Greg and a few others. They were halfway there when the stick of C4 landed in front of them. Greg threw himself over it to protect the others though Kyle was unable to get back in time. Greg was killed instantly, though Kyle wasn't. He had nothing else to give up. Back at the hospital the doctors worked day in and day out to try and save him though were unable to repair the nerves in his legs enough for him to ever be able to walk again. Depression set in after that. For a full year he stayed in the hospital recovering. After that he had to move in with someone until he learned to be independent again. Now some 15 years later this happens....

Weapons- She mainly uses her hunting knife for close up. She also has rigged end daggers that are for throwing. A long range is her Eagle pistol. (( they have a really aim and can shoot really fast. ))
