At the time I thought it was strange that it wasn't themed but I didn't really question it, however upon asking other players about it I have been told that all other eggs people have found there have been themed. (I brought it up in the region chat because I don't keep quitari and I was wondering if someone would want to trade for an egg that they had also found in the hidden area.)

Is this a bug? Because I honestly don't know...

This has happened to me before as well, with this Bulbori during the Week of Love. I'm not sure that it's a bug - I think there's just a small chance that an egg isn't themed, and is just a random appearance like it usually is. Though I got this one outside of the Festival zone, since there wasn't one during that event (instead, the whole of Astryl's Vale was used), so... I don't know if the same circumstances apply.

The... "find a random Themed Eggling in a zone" code is atrocious and super overtly complicated and hard to control. So yea, this just looks like a bug.

Because of another bug with the hidden area, I'm going to just end up re-releasing the first hidden area's prizes (not the grand prize, just the basic ones) when I enable the second area probably sometime this weekend.

I will try to get all of the bugs related to it cleaned up for the 2nd attempt lol.

I'm not going to even pretend that I understand what you just said but so long as you are aware of the issue and are doing something about it, I'm happy.

The same thing happened to me once, over... Winter Fest, I think it was. My first Sylvorpa was hatched from a Fest Zone egg, and she actually turned out quite nicely!
