Mostly in my hatchery, some in my stables.

Stop buying my pets JUST to release them. DO something with them! breed them, fight with them, I don't care.

there's a releasing contest going on now, people (including me) are buying cheap pets to release them and get contest points. you might consider making your prices higher or refraining from putting your pets for sale while the contest is going on.
