Hi, like the title says I have some questions about stat projects. See, for a good long while now I've been wanting to do a Qitari max stat project. Well it had started out as a 6 vis/max stat project, but I've come to the conclusion that it would be impossible for me to do that since I would need 6 mystical essences to begin with. Not to mention all the Prismatic Philters I would need.
So instead I'm going to mostly focus on max stats. Now my questions are:
How much space am I gonna need for this project?
How many Prismatic Philters do I need?
Should I try to at least get a couple of traits into the project or just not worry too much about that? And if so, what traits and color combination would you think is the easiest to do for a max stat project?
Is there a way to get a finished breeding pair without them being too inbred?
What would be a good price to sell finished offspring at?
So there are my questions. Any advice or tips will be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time. ^_^

I would highly recommend breeding for looks first and then doing max stat, but that's really my personal preference. There are quite a few choices for max stat pets, so I wouldn't think too many people would be interested in a no vis pet. Plus, it can be quite pricey to get non-fabled species to max stat due to their starting stats being much lower, so you really want to be happy with the final product. But then my mentality is to breed what I like and then if anyone else happens to want to buy some that's just bonus.
I'm currently working on a max stat vul and I will starting on a vorpa max stat once my starting pairs are old enough. I am using a standard setup that uses the least amount of prismatic philters possible.
Basically you have two breeding pairs that you breed two offspring each that become the next generation:
A1f and A1m are bred to give you A2f and B2m
B1f and B1m are bred to give you B2f and A2m
The offspring are then bred together to get the next generation. The final pair will have a high amount of inbreeding, but since inbreeding doesn't effect anything it's not an issue. If for some reason you want a low inbred number, you will have to spend a huge amount on prismatic philters because you will need a lot more unrelated breeding pairs for every generation. I'd rather use those philters on a different max stat project.
You will also need some gender swap philters for when your offspring decide not to hatch in nice pairs.
My Vuls are currently on gen6 and won't be max stat until gen10. I'm only going for one final pair, so I needed a total of 34 prismatic philters. So far I've had to use 4 gender swaps. I'm also using pies to help speed up the process. My vorpas are starting with higher hp, so they will only need 9 generations to reach max stat.
On a side note, you don't need to use any essences for a high vis breeding project. My vorpas are a dye project, that I'm going to wait until I get them to max stat before dying them. Many people will dye max stat pets anyway to suit their own tastes. It's more about them having traits that work nicely together.
I hope that helps and doesn't just confuse you...lol!
Oh, and if I happen to have any Qits you'd like offspring from, or breedings, just let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Wow. O.o Thanks for the info. It wasn't confusing or anything. I'll keep all that in mind while I start gathering and hording Prismatic Philters. XD So I can still do the 6 vis/max stat combo? Cool. ^_^ I'll just dye the finished pair then. The way I designed it is pretty awesome in my opinion so I didn't really want to give up on the 6 vis part. And thanks for the offer to help. I'll take a look through your Qitaris to see if there's any that I could use. ^_^
