I am not certain if this is under consideration or not - but considering the site developments that are underway - are these begin funded by Diamond sales alone?

Has anyone considered a subscription with specific perks:

Daily gold
Extra eggs
Food for Stable pets

Just a though!

Other sites do this as an incentive to bring in extra revenue - not mandatory mind you. But I sure could use some gold to help feed my pets some days and I cannot always rely on whether I find some in a treasure chest or winning some in the Jinkxie's Jamboree game.

please, please NO. one of the things I love about this site was the fact that everyone is equal, no "VIP" and all that stuff. we already have a diamond shop where you can buy things you need, for real money. I don't want to see "VIP" logos on users' nicknames. =\

I also agree with Loki, I'm not a fan of the VIP stuff (and this from a person who has purchased subscriptions on other sites in the past). Also, you'll find once you get a little further in the game that gold is not hard to come by, and eggs are so easy to get that you'll need to basically give them away to keep any sort of space in your stables XD

I wanted to be sure you know about the stablehand. You get a discount when feeding your pets if you use her. You can access the stablehand by going to the stables and then clicking the image of your avatar that's above "View Stable List". You can then select how long you want the contract with the stablehand to last. I usually pick the 2 week option.

A much more reliable source of gold is missions. If you need help setting up pets for missions, there's probably a guide, or I can offer you advice via pm if you'd like.

Btw, there is a perk for buying diamonds with getting ads removed for a certain amount of time. But I have to agree with others that I would be worried of having too many perks for those who can buy diamonds for those that can't. There's another site I used to play on that I just can't bring myself to play after I couldn't afford to buy their special currency for another year subscription. The features I got used to made the game feel almost unplayable after I could no longer afford to continue.

I discovered the missions as a way to get gold - I noticed members with pets who achieved their ranks using the missions as opposed to getting beaten up by Cereth.

I know what game you are talking about - I tend to "hoard" so I had an account (I kid you know) for each "type" of pet or breed that I liked. Each had a membership. I probably should have the thread deleted, but I have actually gotten a sense of how the members feel and have gotten some valuable information.

Now I need to find out how to get some of the "themed" pets.

When picking out pets to use for stables, pay close attention to the base stats. Try to find a pet with a very high base stat for the particular type of mission you want to run. That way when you get to the better missions at Saerielle, there's less a chance of failure. I also end up using a naming scheme so I can remember which pet is for what type of mission. You might want to do something similar.

These are what I use. The _____ represents the rest of the pet's name. Strong Audra is an example.
Adept _____ - Dexterity
Agile _____ - Agility
Clever _____ - Intellect
Stout _____ - Health
Strong _____ - Strength


I think it's a different game since it's definitely not needed to have an account for each type.

Themed pets can be obtained in various ways. Their release usually coincides with a fest. They're often originally found while you're fighting battles in a fest zone. However, it doesn't always work this way. You can buy themed pets from other players, too. If you look at the advanced search, you can select that you want to look at themed pets and also click that you want to look for ones that are for sale. The only exception to this is some very early on themed pets that don't have a tag. And because they're not tagged, they won't show up as a themed via the advanced search. These are rare to come across though.

Themed pets will vary greatly in price. Different things that can influence the price is if they're exclusive, fabled (or might as well be fabled like the puffs), or just hard to find anymore.

I don't think we'd ever resort to a pure subscription to play or even a subscription for certain benefits.

The only type of subscription I could foresee is something that's strictly like cosmetic or something unrelated to game mechanics... like... subscribe to a monthly avatar club or something where you get avatar items automatically for subscribing to it. I don't know lol.

I'd much rather increase the amount of useful things to buy with Diamonds and increase our playerbase to get more people buying Diamonds.

While having some sort of subscription might bring in extra income, I think the negatives of what it'd create would outweigh the positives.
