I find it strange that there are easy ways to get from a shop back to the town, or from a small section of the map to the world map, but not a way to get from a town to the map without going through the menus and the world map.
for example:
if you were in Esior's Haven and wanted to go to Fungus Grove, you currently have to go to explore, world map, Viridian Meadow, then finally into Fungus Grove. Instead I think it would be easier to go from Esior's Haven straight to Viridian Meadow.
