Hello Stylestia
Below is my entry for the summer original art contest, It was my first crack at drawing Stylesties.. and I have been having some technical difficulties (AKA my tablet seams to be busted >.<) so its not my best work by a long shot.
I stopped doing drawing a while ago since I soft shade, and people just didn't seam interested. BUT I have been searching for ways to earn some diamonds in this game and see some interest in soft shaded cutie art again... so...
I love drawing cats best but I draw just about anything. ANYTHING!!! I take it as a challenge.
If you want to check my deviant account :Dragoil Deviant account
Most in there I actually have my tablet up and running so BIIIGGG difference.
Regardless, IF I do an art shop (if people are even interested), what range should I price things at? I'm very confused at this games currency ratio (personally I'd price at a $5 to $15 dollar value regularly but diamonds are all over in value especially compared to gold so.. suggestions?)
Thankyou for reading/looking!

I what I did to price diamonds was make about 100-1000 gold equal one diamond. You can also just go with how much money you need to use to actually buy a diamond. (For example, if it cost $10 for 50 diamonds, then $5 might be around 5-10 diamonds, more or less.)
I hope that helps! :)

Your art is very cute~! <3
The gold to diamond rate changes fairly often, but it usually sits between 2500g-3000g per diamond, so that's always a good place to ball park at. Going by RL currency into diamonds your listed prices would be 500 to 1500 diamonds (Essentially, 1 diamond = 1 cent), although diamonds are cheaper during sales.
The art forums here are pretty slow, so if/when you start an art shop go for prices that you're comfortable with and don't feel discouraged if you're not getting commissions requests immediately. :)

Thank you both! That's very helpful!
Mmmm some how I don't see people spending 500 diamonds on one piece of art so I'll probably ignore the rl cash to diamond rate. I will keep what you have both said in mind and try to price fairly.
And I'll keep in mnd this place is slow paced. I prefer it that way. Wish me luck!
