I realise that is would screw the economy and make people want to buy test kits less.

But being able to test others pets would be cool. I mean people already do it by selling them for 1 g then buying them back.

Don't you ever get curious about what carries someone else's pet has? Or a pet bread from one of your pets?

I would really love this, it would make breeding themed pets when looking for certain carries super convenient, and it would be faster for everyone... But like you said the genetic testers wouldn't really get bought. D: And people who have spent the money to buy one may not be 100% happy with the new development.

I sort of remember a while ago* that Krin/Fai were going to add some sort of shop or something that sells the one use testing kits, hopefully that will result in a lot more tested pets. :<

Maybe some sort of special goggle item that lets you see the traits but doesn't test the pet for the owner? But, I guess that wouldn't work either 'cause people could just PM whatever traits a pet has to the owner. :s

Very true. The goggle idea is nice.

I have bought the kit and see it from both points of view. People still get their pets tested but just not as easily.

Sadly i don't know about anyone else but I would be the person going round and testing random pets in my spare time XD

by the way, the idea itself is nice imo, as well as it's bad for the economy.

...I'd also test any pet I see if I had the option to do it without having to buy and sell it back. :D
