i logged in and this started to happen all kind of words all of a sudden become links and the sometime move with you around the page sometime they say put. it's realy anoing and when i acedently kliked on one of those link something came up and that i had to give in my mobile number (withs i would never do becaus i have no idea what this is, and there for i don't trust it) and it alsow happens with other tests so if someone made a post all of a suden several word in that post become blue with a line under it and that green thing.

what is it and how do i make it go away?

Oh wow that looks weird. Seems to me like some sort of unwanted extension or app on your web browser.

Quick question for you to see if I may be able to help out?


What internet browser do you use? (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc)
* If you use Chrome, you can see added extension with this link: http://chrome://extensions/
* For Internet Explorer, you have to click on the GEAR shape in the top right corner and find "Manage Add-ons"

Those are the only two I have, sooo... ahh... I think most have something in the "settings" or "internet options" or other similar menus? ^^;




A lot of programs like that will attach themselves to other downloads. Like how Java always wants people to download the Ask toolbar... Forget to un-check the box that says "Yes! Install this crap on my PC! :D" and it sneaks itself right into your settings.

i use Chrome and the weard thing is it all of asudden apeard today when it has bin day's sins i downloaded something... (in the mesage you send 7 words became those strage link things) and i used my Anti- Malware programe to look for things (it did find somethings and i removed it but it did not solve this problem)

and that chrome extensions don't work it sayes that link don't work/exists

i looked it up on interet what it my be, did what they told me to do to stop it. this did not help anything.
the only reson i nolonger have the links now is becaus i used my adblock to max potentiol it's blocking everything now and now those trage things are gone.
(not sure it is fixed but atleased no longer bodersome.) and i hope it stayes that way

This is nothing Sylestia related. That image icon isn't even something that's on our site so it definitely isn't being produced from Sylestia.

As was suggested, this must be some sort of extension or app that is taking control of html links.

I had this same bug a few months ago. It's not Sylestia related like Krin says, it's actually something attaches itself to your files. I don't remember the name of it, but in order to get rid of it entirely I had to go into my files and downloads and manually remove and then block it from reattaching. If you look it up you should be able to find a step-by-step walkthrough on how to get rid of it.

Like a bug/virus?

I'd like to know how this thing is acquired in the first place, so that we all can avoid stumbling across it...It looks so annoying; I don't want to have it.
