Hello everyone,

I am currently stuck in the Dungeon of the Forsaken and the only way I can think to get past the elves and the boss is to equip my team with mythical equipment; however, I am having a devil of a time finding any. I put my sylestis through the hardest missions, I constantly battle in the raids, and I train in the dungeons and Aryth's Spire, but I am having no luck. I don't know what else to do.

All that being said, here are my questions:

1. Besides buying items in the trades, how else can I find Mythical items?

2. Is there a trick of some kind to get past the Dungeon of the Forsaken?

3. Is the Dungeon of the Forsaken the current end of the Sylestia Beta adventure?

4. How high do my stats need to be to be effective against the elves and the boss?

If anyone has any answers, I'd love to read them because I am getting frustrated. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Forester

Hi there!

I do the Dungeon of the Forsaken almost every day if I remember to. Sometimes I run into droughts not being able to find mythics. Other times I run into bunches of them. There's no special trick. It's just a matter of keep trying. I hunt for them to sell them usually. Because they tend to be expensive they're slow moving items but when they do sell it's very nice.

The Dungeon of the Forsaken isn't the end. There's an incomplete third region that has two zones available. Once you finish the story of the second zone you'll be finished.

I can't remember specific stats. But there's certain teams that might be more effective than others. And also a bit of strategy, too. Particularly with Vierna. But I don't want to accidentally spoil you. You can message me regarding it if you'd like. And I can always take a look at your team and see if I can offer more advice.

1. Besides buying items in the trades, how else can I find Mythical items?

Level 25 Mythical items can be found in the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon. Level 50 Mythical items can be found in the Dungeon of the Forsaken (the first two bosses can drop Accessories, the elves can drop Armour and Vierna can drop Relics).

2. Is there a trick of some kind to get past the Dungeon of the Forsaken?

Not really. With non-max stat pets its a matter of trial and error and a bit of luck. This guide should provide some assistance.

3. Is the Dungeon of the Forsaken the current end of the Sylestia Beta adventure?

No. You still have Astryl's Vale. In fact, you should be able to access Astryl's Vale without completing the Dungeon.

4. How high do my stats need to be to be effective against the elves and the boss?

There is no one-size fits all answer. I currently have a max stat team but the first time going through the Dungeon I didn't have a max stat team so its certainly not a requirement. Definitely try to level up your team as much as possible (level 60 is the current maximum), take a look at some of the team building guides to confirm you have the best structure and distribution of points as possible and double check that each pet has the best Legendary (orange) equipment for their build-type.

Edit: For clarification.

Thank you both for answering my post. The information was great.

Without you two writing back, I do not think I would have ever noticed that I could now access the Astryl's Vale part of the world map.

Thank you guys again.

Hey, took a look at your current party pets, and some of your level 60s, and I can see a common trend in them. You can make your pets more effective in battle without needing the mythical equipment. In fact, you should be able to clear the dungeons without mythical equipment (since the dungeons is where you get mythical equipment)/ max stat pets, although of course if you have those the battles will definitely be easier.

I'll recommend you to restat and equip your pets after you read this guide: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=11101

The main thing to remember is that if you choose to add any level up/proficiency points to strength, don't add any to intelligence, and vice versa. That's because strength adds to physical damage, while intelligence adds to magical damage, and your pet can only use one. So any points added to the damage it doesn't use will be wasted.

Likewise, use equipment that adds more points to the stat you've chosen instead of splitting between the two/all stats. Relics should add more damage to physical if you chose strength, or magical if you chose intelligence, instead of splitting between the two.

For the elves and boss battles, you also need the right strategy to defeat them instead of just dealing damage to them like normal enemies.

For the elves, you will face 3 elves randomised from 4 types. The 4 types of elves have different stats, some deal more damage and others are harder to kill. So you'll need to identify which to kill first, so your party will receive less damage.

For the final boss, in the first battle, only hit her, and do not kill the two minions beside her as it'll make her stronger. In the second battle, you need to keep an eye on her moves, as she will suck your pets mana and turn it into health. So you'll need to know the pattern, and use up all your mana in finishing blows before she does that.

Here's a guide to the forsaken dungeon if you want: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=15571

For all boss battles, it helps to battle in a lower zone to get full health/mana before entering the battle. You can also get potions in aryth's spire to give you an extra boost for the battle.
