UPDATE: I'm generating the puffs now......and they will look something like this.

There will be variations in the colors other than the black and white, and of course you can always dye them to your liking when the project is done.

I have decided to release a lot more of these than I had originally planned, and here are the new prices:

For one infertile stat puff: 2 Prisma philters or 2 magic pies
For two infertile stat puffs: 4 Prisma philters or 4 magic pies
For three infertile puffs: 5 prisma philters or 5 magic pies

I am going to modify this thread in a bit with my other two current stat projects so those who are interested can sign up for them as well. They will be the same prices.

Ooooh, more puppies <3
If I am understanding correctly you want an investor to donate 2 philters a month for a total of 20 philters at project completion? Or is it two prisms total that will earn an infertile puff?

Also is there any place I can stalk your mork and nixi stat projects? >.>

Dark Moon makes me think of black and silver color scheme with some very dark blue mixed in. I'd love to see what you come up with.

It would be a total of 20 philters for the puff. When you put it that way, it is kind of a lot. Maybe we should consider better rewards.

I don't have threads for my stat projects, I prefer to do them on my own and then present the finished product (that is, the one I already did which was a stat ligh project) but I will show you what I'm doing if you're interested. Just ping me back and let me know what I can do for you.

I am thinking black or navy blue with teal, electric blue, and maybe burgundy and emerald. But I need to talk with Fenn about it more.

I would be very interested in seeing what your plans for your stat projects are (and potentially donating for a finished offspring next time philters are selling for cheap) and if you are willing, be kept in the loop each time you hit a breeding goal point.

Pets with new/exclusive traits will be much more valuable compared to similar max stats. Same with max possible mana. Or purebred exclusive themed.

But more importantly, if the end point is gorgeous, people will line up for babies. And with the recent influx of new genes, this is your chance to stand out from the crowd when it seems like everyone is doing a Stat project.

Like I mentioned in chat, I think it would probably be better to have a one-time payment for the puffs, since a total of 20 philters for a puff is quite a large amount; most people would probably prefer to do their own projects, unless the investor can design the puffs.

What I meant by curse due to flexibility is that investors (and buyers) might want to pick and choose, say would prefer to have Candy wings rather than Feathered Wings, when both are present in capped puffs. Unless you make it so that they couldn't choose, but that might be enough to get some people miffed.

And with colours, it is probably better to stick with quite a specific colour scheme. Perhaps have non-varying colours and varying colours? For example make C1 be non-varying, and always black, while the eye colour can vary from white to light blue.
The varying colours would be better off having them mix nicely. I know I can't breed two specific dyed lighs together because most of the test breeds have magma runes becoming an alarming shade of green.
However I am probably pickier with colours than most, colour swings from lesser dyes urk me a lot.

Ele, thanks so much for your insights. I appreciate your feedback because I have never done a public funding option to a project, so this is new to me. I will adapt the first post to reflect what I have learned from you and others to see if we can get this thing off the ground.

I am off to see my husband in the hospital. When I get back, I'll try to take care of things here.

Please see update to previous post on first page. I am now generating the puffs and taking preorders.

Here's a link to the new thread with all four stat breeding projects included:
