Since you said you're doing this to practice your art skills, I have a of advice.
You have mostly got your basic anatomy down good, but the angle of the first girl's head is a bit strange. So is the second's, but I suck at profiles. xD
But since the first girl is supposedly some kind of esquire legged person, it makes sense to have her tall, but it seems a bit unnatural for her to be standing in that particular stance. I'm also going to assume she's like a female satyr, but the placement of the stomach connecting to the hide legs seems a bit to artificial. The legs are also a bit too thin, as opposed to a real horse's.
Actually, take a look at this drawing and compare it to your drawing in anatomy. I'm not saying you have to be as good as the drawing, but you could learn a bit. :D
(Um, Ifeel like I didn't word that well enough... I'm sorry if that sounded a bit harsh... Sowy... *facedesks*)
But anyhow, your shading is pretty good, too! It seems a bit unnatural, but I know you'll get better! I do have a tip for the coloring of the shading, though. Instead of just choosing one color for one area of shading, like the skin, try using more color near the same color as the skin, just to make it more lively!
(Ok, maybe I shouldn't have so much sugar... I'm derailing myself...)

Style: Can you do a slight mix of realism and anime? If not, just an anime-like drawing is good!
Description/Picture: I'd love it if you could draw Dipper Pines! He could be standing with a shadow of Bill Cipher as his shadow. He'd be wearing his normal clothes, but maybe a bit scuffed. He'd have a slightly worried and scared expression. I'll try to provide a sketch, but I might not. I;m trying to draw some fan art myself for the finale of the show...
Colors: You could use highly unsaturated colors of his normal color palette, but have his eyes highlighted brightly. His eyes are supposedly brown.
Oh yes, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
Except I'm too young to date and I'm too scared to ask any boys I like. xD

Thanks for the advice! As I said, this is a big wip, and I actually do two to three different levels of shading. I only have the first level done XD hopefully when I finished the skin will look more like doing and the fur will look more like fur. And yeah, I'm just now learning anatomy because I've only ever drawed faces(my teacher suggested spreading out in my projects) so thanks for that picture. It's a really nice thing to compare anatomy to! And I'll get right on it when I get home!

Oh okay! I used to only draw faces, but I'm trying to draw more now myself. :) I'd suggest lightening up some of the shading a bit if you can.
Oh yes, what digital; art program do ya use?

Oh great! I can help you if you want with the program if you need any!
And this is your choice, but do you ever use a transparent background when you're done drawing something in the program? :D
And if you want to, you can also color the line art/sketch to make it look more natura. ^-^ Just airbrush or paint over in a clipping layer!

Okay, when you save your drawing as a .png file, there should be two options after you name the file.
A box that says .png Save Options will have a choice of saving it as 24bpp RGB or 32bpp ARGB. 24bpp doesn't have the transparency option, and just saves the image on how it looks on the canvas, giving it a white background where there is no marks on it. 32bpp means that every pixel has it's own opacity, so when you save it, it means it will allow pixels to vary in opacity without a white background, making it transparent, like the Sylesti art and avatar art on this site. The artists also use Sai to do all the artwork here. xD
Oorrr...
Just take a peek at this small tutorial by Whitty-Boo, where I learned to do it. xD
You should get a DeviantArt account if you haven't yet. It's a great art site for anyone with any kind of art. :D
(I always ramble...sorry. xD)
