I've seen various talk of how our current avatars might be revamped in the future. I was thinking that if the art for all previous outfits has to be redone that maybe it could be set up where it can be done a bit at a time. New outfits would automatically be only on the new bases. Old outfits would be gradually redone and added for the new bases. At the same time outfits that haven't had art redone yet could be kept on the old avatar bases. Eventually after all art is revamped the old bases could be discontinued completely as an option.

If they are willing to move the items over, that would be great. It sounds like it could be a smooth process.

But at this point I'd personally rather see things progress to a new base rather than worry about consistency of the items on each base. There are a lot of limitations with the current base so I think the sooner they move away from the current base the better. (I have the majority of the items for the current one, but I'd be willing to sacrifice that for a new one. We need more layers so we can use more of the items at once.)
