There's some debate on which stat specifically is required for each seal, but the general consensus is that Jinxie is not used, and your pet needs to have at least 200 stat points to unlock the seal.

If you go to your pet's profile, you can find the statistics of the pet


Each stat has a function (run your mouse over to read more):
-physical/magical damage determines the amount of damage your pet will deal in battle. Your pet can only utilise ONE of this (the highest one)
-strength contributes to physical damage/mitigation; intelligence to magical
-dexterity contributes to crit hit/accuracy
-agility contributes to mitigation/avoidance/quickness
-mitigation lowers the amount of damage your pet receive
-crit hit deals extra damage
-accuracy reduces chance of missing enemy
-avoidance increase chance of avoiding enemy
-quickness determines if you/the enemy hits fast per round

The number in the (brackets) are the base stats of the pet. Meaning it's the stat points your pet has at level 0 with no equipment/anything added.


So to break the seal, your pet is supposed to need at least 200 stat points.
i.e. if the seal requires strength stat, strength needs to be at least 200 points. Since my pet has 377 points, it should be able to break the seal.

How do I get more stat points?

Each pet starts off with a base stat. Different species start off with different base stats. You can increase base stats by using philters when you hatch an egg.

Each time a pet increases level, it increases all it's stats, and gives you stat points to distribute to whichever stat you want. Every 5 levels and you get a proficiency point, which you can use to add points to stat, or use on special abilities.

Equipment gives stat points, in varying amount (based on rarity), and distribution (based on type of equipment).
