Well... I think our options are throw them on the broker and try to sell them, sell them for nothing in your inventory slots, or wait until next year to see if they mojo again.
I think so at least. Does anyone else know any more things?

Nah, there's nothing you can do with them. I kept mine from last year and they were usable. Just keep them for next year.
