Hi!
I was just wondering a few things, them mainly being:
How do you title yourself? Is it just automatic when you reach a certain level, or is there diamonds you have to pay to give yourself that title?
About essences-How do you obtain them? I've been told they rarely appear in battles, and the other way to get them is to like pay diamonds. Are there any other ways?
Any hints/help for the festivals?
And the last thing: Can you reach Level 60 by not paying any IRL money? Thanks for your help! ;)

Firstly, titles I believe are given during festivals.
-Trickster: Trick or Treat 500 times as a Visitor
-Candy Dispenser: Hand out 500 Pieces of Candy
-The Sweet Tooth: Create 5 Handfuls of Candy
-The Kind-Hearted: Hand out a Personal Item
These are the ones you can get currently (and The Hallowed for placing in the top 20 in a mojo event) I didn't know this until Uranium said it
Once you get a title you can go to your profile to use it.
Secondly, Essences can be bought for gold from other players under Trade Broker, prices vary and get pretty expensive.
Thirdly, I'm not doing the zone part of the festival purely because its more time consuming then I thought. Trick-or-Treating isn't that hard though, The more when I log on after being gone for a couple hours I normally have 50+ trick or treaters and I can get through them in like two minutes, and trickortreating yourself is just as easy...
If you see a little Jinxie floating around click her, she gives you things.
Someone else will have to help you with the rest of the festival.
Lastly, my highest pet is only lvl 38 but I got this high with out IRL money I believe you won't need to pay to lvl up, you just need to work hard to do it, use items and spend your lvl points to help your pet lvl up.
I hope this helps.

Oh yeah, do missions in the town barracks to help level up your pets. It's very useful and gives you rewards like gold, potions, equipments, and sometimes essences.

Essences can be naturally obtained from nurturing, doing missions, and battling pets. I believe Jinxie Jamboree game also gives essences, but since I don't play that, I'm not certain. Otherwise, you can buy them with gold like the above player said.
If you want more info about festivals in general, here's a good guide to read:
https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=16344
It also includes features of past festivals that are not available this fest, but can prepare you for future festivals.
Otherwise, just explore and have fun with the features~
Everyone has different goals for the festival and plays differently. Some focus on competition, some wants more themed pets, some wants boss avatar items.... The festival is very diverse so hopefully there's something that everyone wants, but it can make it a bit overwhelming at times. =P
And yes, you can reach level 60 without using real money. your player level is the level of the highest pet you leveled up, so you'll reach there eventually so long as you keep training your pet, either through battling or doing missions. You can use experience orbs, but those can be expensive unless you happen to find them.
Most of this game can be played without spending real money, it just takes a longer time to build up the resources.
