I'm not certain if it's a bug or intentional but there doesn't seem to be any of the new zone themed kelparies or sylvorpas found from the nests in the holiday zone.

Hm. Yea, that seems to be the case.
Unfortunately, with how the explore system is coded... there's really no way around that unless there was a spawn in the water, but then it would only be Sylvorpa/Kelpari. =\

If Sylvorpa and Kelpari (and, consequently, their themed) only appear in the water except during zombie raids, why would this be a problem? Seeing how these are my favorite species, I find it particularly disappointing that none of the eggs I find in the fest zone could ever be those themes. (I mean, unless the themed encounter rate is higher in the water, which it doesn't seem to be.) If you're worried about there being a sudden disproportionately high amount of Sylvorpa and Kelpari eggs compared to the other species, why not just make the water egg spawn rate lower? :<

You guys are lucky to even find eggs. I haven't found any, anywhere.

Due to there only being two available species for the water and 14 for land, you will encounter much more sylvorpa/kelpari themed per hour spent in the water than a specific species per hour spent on land - if that makes sense.
