I know it's pretty minor, but I think we should have signatures at the bottom of our forum posts! The catch is that they won't be allowed to be as comprehensive as the stuff in the "about me" section.

What do you guys think?

I usually find signatures to be as distracting as ads. :( So no support from me. Sorry. D:
But that's just my personal opinion. The userbase might have a different opinion.

I remember someone bringing up this topic 1-2 years ago. I forget the discussion on it then though. >.<

I gotta agree with Tap here. Signatures tend to be full of garish colors, and worse, flashing animations, which put people with seizure disorders such as myself, at risk.

Maybe krin could disable the [img] function.

I would love to see signatures in a text only format. None of those crazy flashy gifs and annoying things.

Maybe as an alternative, give people the option to not view signatures? (so you can tick a box saying not to view, and you won't see them on forums, but when its unticked, you see them)

I know that Gaia Online (back when I played lol) had signatures only show up in the last post a person had on a page. So if someone posted repeatedly on one page of a thread, their signature only shows up on the bottom one, which alleviates repetitiveness on one end.

I feel like text signatures would probably be ads to me anyhow aha.

I wouldn't mind text signatures if there were a character count cap. Around the length of a tweet. Like 1 line in the forums, where you could put links to things or a quote you like. Seems like enough space to me.

Ah, yes. An "On / Off" button would be super nice if this was implemented.
